STEPS FOR TAGGING CATTLE
STEP - 1
Immobilize the head of the animal with a rope or as shown in the picture.
STEP - 2
Use disinfectant to clean the tip of the Male Tag and the ear before piercing the tag.
STEP - 3
Male Tag should be firmly held on pin. Insert Female Tag into clip. Align Male Tag tip with Female Tag hole.
STEP - 4
Identify position of tag as shown in picture.
STEP - 5
Position the applicator on the identified tagging site. Firmly and quickly close the applicator and release.
STEP - 6
Verify that the tag has been correctly and securely positioned. In case of bleeding apply antiseptic.
